Foley Home Facts Update – December 2019

The Foley real estate is exploding and has been experiencing tremendous growth over the past several years.  In fact, there has been an 88% growth in population since 2000.

Key Points About Foley Homes

At a median home value of just $209,000, home costs are some of the lowest in lower Alabama.  Although demand has been extremely high (especially now), home prices are still very attainable with an average sales price of $253,093.

To further embellish on Foley’s growth, you can see from the infographic that selling prices have increased nearly 37% over the past 4 years.  Yet, there are still 151 homes that are for sale under $250,000.

This is incredible to me and it gives home buyers great opportunities to own a home near the beach at a very reasonable price.

Another key point to notice is the number of new construction homes that are for sale.  Yes, there are 81 new construction homes on the market right now.  I’ve seen brand new homes on the MLS for under $200,000.

What an opportunity for home buyers!

As for Foley homes that have closed in the past 30 days, the listing to selling price ratio is still 97%.  This means that buyers are still able to get under the original list price.  So, Foley is still in a buyer’s market, despite the growth.
